Well this is the last trip I have planned and I’m beyond excited. If you recall, I postponed my Thailand trip back in September. This time, it’s a much shorter trip and I’m only going to one place but I am finally getting a chance to experience Thailand. I’m flying to Phuket in a matter of hours and will spend the next few days in Khao Lak.
Funny thing though, I was talking to a colleague at the end of the work day and she said she and her family were heading to Thailand in a few hours. Well we are staying at the same hotel! My solo trip will be even more amazing now that I have someone who will force me to do yoga at sunrise each morning! Because Lord knows I can’t hold my self accountable to do that. I’m looking forward to seeing the beautiful country, meeting great people and seeing a colleague while there; and yes, I am even looking forward to the sunrise yoga.
I’ve had a fun and productive couple of weeks. I have accomplished a great milestone and those in my inner circle have encouraged me and rooting me on the entire way. Thank you all!
I’ve had a little entertainment as well. What’s my favorite animated film of all time? Beauty and the Beast of course! I will always be a sucker for a good love story. A friend took me to see the live show here in Doha and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m always amazed at how creative the process is for taking something from film to the stage. I applaud the talented people that make such shows a success. I even took a night and watched Coming to America. I was feeling nostalgic. Again…sucker for a love story.
Lastly, I just want to take the time to say that life is short. I know you hear this all the time and we all know it. In saying that, yes, let those whom you love know you love them. Live life to the fullest. Make each day count. Whatever that means for you. Take care of your health, you body, your mind and your spirit. No one is perfect so forgive and don’t stay mad. It takes a lot of energy to be mad. Be happy and find the good in all things.
On that note…living life and it’s good and even though I don’t say I love you…the ones I love, have heard the words from my lips…or my fingers in today’s day and age 🙂
